We’re back!

This season we reference the equally creepy and beautiful costumes of the Victorian pantomime entertainers, the Payne Brothers. Teaming typical period costume elements with shapes forever inspired by the silhouettes of the 1860’s, a celebration of Couture and creative cutting.

Silly, but staple spots and stripes layered on plain dyed base cloths, translate a whimsical sense of play and experimentation. Generously worked ruffles in sustainably sourced silks are used to create the next level of the house's signature ‘cameo’ applique.

A nod to Gucci with velvets and wide cut trousers, keeping in mind a contemporary sense of style icons of the day Harry Styles and Dua Lipa.

SS23 is a rich kaleidoscope of emotions and memories of the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021, a product of two difficult years in the making. Defining a time where the prospect of giving up everything we had worked for was equally matched by the desire to keep our dream going.
